  1. Who needs this service? Authors of scientific articles whose mother tongue is not English and wish to publish their articles in English language scientific journals. Any author of English language documents, be it in Academia or business, will find our service useful.
  2. How are you different than other such companies? We are Professors and Researchers at prestigious Universities in China and USA. Unlike most language editing companies, we are active researchers performing research and publishing in scientific journals. Importantly, we provide and encourage active interaction between the editors and the Author through video (e.g. Skype). This helps the Author understand why the corrections have been made. Our goal is help improve the Author’s writing skills through the services we provide.
  3. Who are the Language Editors? Young researchers, Post-doctoral Fellows and graduate students (Masters and Doctorate) at U.S. and European universities and research institutions.
  4. What do Managing Editors do? Managing Editors include Professors and Senior Researchers from prestigious universities and institutes in U.S. and Europe. The managing editor oversees the English editing process and assures timely and efficient handling of your documents.

  6. How long does it take? Generally about 5 to 10 days for most articles (less than 10,000 words) after the payment has been received. Please see our Pricing & Timing
  7. How much does it cost? Between five and ten US cents per word. Please see our Pricing & Timing
  8. How do you count words in my article? We accept Microsoft Word documents only. You can count words after taking out the references, figures and tables (but include figure and table captions).
  9. How do I pay? We will send you an invoice and you make the payment.
  10. Can I pay in my local currency? All prices are in US dollars. We also accept RMB and several other major currencies.
  11. If I refer an Author to your company, will you pay me? Yes. The company pays a fixed percent (typically up to 10%) of the total charge for processing one article to the person recommending a submitted article.
